Your son, daughter, your godchild - or your friend's child has a slightly unusual name? A name for which you cannot find letters in a shop? Or, not even a name sign made of wood? You can find it here!

In case you don't want to use a fretsaw, paintbrushes and lots of colour pots yourself - why not have a look here. There are also a few theme signs and the possibility of making the sign a magnet. Anything realisable will be sawn!

You are interested in a wooden name sign?

The signs are made of 6 mm poplar plywood. They are painted twice (paint, sand, paint). The colours have a silky shine and the paint on the wood has smooth feel to it. Signs can also be shipped raw. In this case you have the opportunity to paint and sand them yourself. Letter design is chosen by yourself, you will receive examples to choose from.

Colouring: Have a look at the examples - every sign is different!

Letters: Capitals or small letters. Letter-sizes vary between a less than 2 inches (4,5 cm) and 8 inches (20 cm), depending on your wishes - bigger sizes (> 20x34 cm) increase the postage.

Decorations: There are stars, hearts, flowers, suns, horses, diggers, clowns, elephants, seagulls, footballs, roses, leaves, fire engines, traines, fairies....

Template: You have a template? Maybe something you have drawn yourself? It can sure be turned into wood, please ask!

Colours: Many colours are available. You can find a colour map with examples here. However, you should also look at the examples to get a better idea.

Suitability for outside: Half of the signs up to now were made for outside use. Many of these customers ordered a raw sign and paint it themselves, with boat paint or similar. However, there are quite a few signs around painted by myself where customers decide to use the signs outdoors, for instance for garden huts or dog huts. I can vouch for a minimum of 2-3 years outside use.

How to Pay: Is discussed once you decide on a name sign. For instance, I accept Paypal, cheques from the UK, within Germany transfers to bank account.

Disclaimer: These signs are a part time job for me next to my normal job. Therefore, curves are sometimes not as round as they should be, and the smoothness of the sign might not be like industrial made products. This offer of "sawing signs" can be cancelled at any time.
These signs are not suitable as toy for children under three years and should not be licked or otherwise end up in a child's mouth. These signs are purely meant as decoration for doors, walls or similar.
